Easy performance fix!
I'm on a 1660 and running everything on High at 1080p no problem!
Guys it's really really simple:
You just gotta lock your refresh rate to 30Hz in your GPU control panel and BOOM buttery smooth gameplay!

For higher cards, the solution is also true but for 60hz.
This game has some really variable FPS options that makes it more fickle at higher rates!

"Buttery smooth" and "30Hz" used in the same paragraph. Yup, you heard it here first folks!... lol

What's wild is between low, medium, high, and epic settings (with motion blur off and post processing low) my sad little card only goes from 46 avg to 52 avg. Like there's only a 6-8 frame difference between the lowest and highest settings for me.
Honestly if i had a way to lock it at 45fps, since I play on a 60Hz TV I could actually run this game on High and not be uncomfortable

Why stopped at 30Hz? We should aim for true cinematic 24Hz

As in there is no stuttering, hitching, input lag, shader compilation hitching, or anything else that interrupts the flow of the gameplay, but I anticipated people like you and made this post as a joke, hence my first reply. Way to ruin the joke by making me explain it. :steamfacepalm:

How do I do that in NVIDIA control panel?
If you happen to have a 120Hz display you could just set the Vsync rate to Half Adaptive. that's what I did to get it locked at 30Hz.
I found an easier performance fix: refund.

What?? you're smokin crack! That makes the game unplayable!!!!!!11!1

How about the DEV just charge you 50% if you really play it @30Hz?

It is no point for gaming if below 60Hz and it really hurts your eye. Except you just play it in monitor under 15 inch.

Yeah but it doesn't lag anymore though, I swear!

I just activated rebar, made shade cache size unlimited, lowered resolution and got out of Coruscant and performance got smooth. Epic settings for everything but foliage and shadows set to medium and AMD FSR disabled.

Not to knock your efforts to help, but there's a lot of vagaries in your statement.
Like what card are you on my dude?
How's the processor hangin?
And when you say lowered resolution, how low did you go?
