graphically underwhelming?

i know everyones problems are different with new games and i might be trippin here but i feel like the last game was just better graphically than this one. i have been fiddling with the settings and i just cant get it to feel right. every time i try to mess with it, it seems to go from bad to worse. anyone else feel that way?

I combined Skywalker true HDR reshade from JFO and Marty McFly's RTGI and the game looks better than real life. Reshade is a must these days tbh.

Agree, if you look at reviewers or game press footage the graphics really aren't that impressive. That said, graphics really isn't the most important aspect of this game.

Also, shame on the devs and publisher for releasing an unfinished product.

it honestly doesn't look much better if at all from the first game. have no idea why it requires the hardware it asks for. cp2077 needs less and it looks much better and even runs better

Literally looks just like fallen order but requires double the hardware. Yeah how about ♥♥♥♥ you respawn and learn to optimize your game.

I noticed it immediately looking at deserts planets looking flat af. There's still foliage, buildings, rock formations that should be casting heavy dark rich shadows. Even the areas where its more industrial looking, the assets look great but the lighting looks like its only affecting the overall level and not individual assets.

Example: look at the grass its almost all lit the same, same with other assets.

I would've liked to see it have a graphically leap from Fallen Order.

If you use any other preset than Epic your resolution will be lower than native.

Graphics have basically plateaued now. There's not really going to be any big jumps. The next Jedi game will mostly like this one too.

Yes, reshade works independently on every game.

Yes, or if you still have JFO installed you could copy the files from there.
