Both have the same issue.
Only the thumbstick work in the game. The arrow keys, right buttons and all the back buttons don’t work.
Right-click on the game -> Properties -> Controllers -> Disable Steam Input.
I suspect it has something janky to do with the fact that it doesn't launch through steam but the EA launcher (albeit indirectly).
Hopefully, that works for people!
Hogwarts, battlefront, RDR II and Elden ring. I have tried them all to check if it was the controller or this piece of ♥♥♥♥ game.
or any other hardware input that is using controller inputs?
i unplugged my wooting keyboard before booting the pc and now it works
so i just plugged out my arcade stick and it worked.
i hope this helps!
My buttons don’t work but i can move n look around with the analog sticks.
I tired resting controller settings , reinstalling steam/the games but that didn’t work .
The only fix that work for me was plugging in a new or different controller and it ended up working for me. Super weird that one controller won’t work but plugging in a new one/a different controller (same brand ps5) does.
I don’t wanna get rid of my “broken” controller but if any one finds a a fix it would be nice .
