Yes because the games industry, EA and Disney have *never* made bad decisions. :)
And? We need two games focused on the same guy why exactly?
Did no others survive the purge? Are we fresh out of ideas that we have to get Kyle Katarn but infinitely more boring?
Not every game is going to be Skyrim/Fallout/whatever.
Accept that some game's stories are based off a specific character created by the writers.
Just because you can only enjoy the pleasures life has to offer from behind some prescribed anime avatar doesn't mean that everyone else is so limited.
If this game had a generic character creation instead of Cal, I would have been considerably less interested in it.
Yes yes, it's about Cal because it's about Cal. Nice tautology dude.
Yeah cause we're so saturated with those.
When was the last time we had a game like that again?
Yes and that specific character just always has to be exactly one-note doesn't it?
Hell this doesn't even get into human diversity. How about an alien for once?
Star Wars is a vast, VAST universe full of potential but in the end we fall back to the same archetype every time in these games.
He is an incredibly overrated actor. He's bad for the role and to be frank, he looks creepy.
Created characters can have personality. See for instance Commander Shepard.
On the flipside, set characters can have zero personality. See for instance Gordon Freeman.
It's not an either / or and I'm sick and tired of this myth.
Sounds to me like you want a different game you should go to the EA forums and give them ideas cause I don't think you can do much about this one now its already a story that is written and being told.
He's awesome what are you on?
Obviously I can't do anything about this one.
All I can do is express my disappointment and point out that Jedi Academy did it right all those years ago.
As an aside, Jaden Korr had 1000 times more personality than Cal Kestis. Just saying.
