First seconds of the video he said what I have said in other post. The performance was bad on the first game, how did anybody forget that and trust the second. Streamers have too much sway with too many.

that's not how it works, it was developed in-tandem for all platforms, that means it's not a port

if it had been released on consoles first and was later ported, that would've made it a port

it has nothing to do with "priorities"
education moment when you design code for a ecosystem that is specific of how it runs then translate it sometimes break , moral of the story you dont know what your talking about in the most polite way i can say.

It's a port. It was programmed for consoles first, then (poorly) adapted for PC.

It doesn't matter that it was released simultaneously on both platforms. The console version could have been finished months ago. The release time has NO bearing on how it was programmed.

its not even close to being the worst port being released on PC, everything after the intro is solid 90+ fps, no drops, just the intro planet is bad, no other bugs and glitches, we had way way worse releases, I feel like Digital fountry plays the intro and than makes a video with a dumb title so they get clicks

And yet people still bought it and preordered it.
And they will preorder and buy the next AAA garbage, showing companies that this is a profitable and right way of doing things.

It does not matter if you complain. They already have your money.
And as long as you keep giving them money despite them botching their work, you will keep getting botched games.

Nah, the worst is TLOU Part 1. This game at least works. TLOU Part 1 you spend anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours building shaders, and then game is crashing every 5-10-15 minutes.

Port or not. Those are horrible stutters and performance for a 10$ price increase. Thanks DF. You saved me another 89.99 CAD.

I mean most people here are not defending it, gameplay, story, music everything about this game is easily a 9/10 and after the Intro so first 1 hour I never had any performance problems for last 20 hours, so why would I be mad about it for me its money good spended, of course this game needs heavy fixing but most people seem to have alot of fun with this game soo nothing here is scammed.
I feel like all those tech people played the intro without seing that the rest of the game has way better performance

I have high tolerance for stutter so I can play games like Survivor or Dead Space just fine. However, Callisto Protocol's stutters were so massive they could not be ignored.

SWJ: Survivor runs ok-ish for me but it is far from expected level of performance on my computer (i9 12900KF, RTX 3080Ti, 32GB DDR5 RAM, NVMe SSD, Win11). The game runs at 1440p, all settings at Epic with RT off at around 70 FPS at Coruscant opening level. There are occasional drops to just below 60. The game just does not feel smooth due to massive frame time and FPS fluctuations.
One thing that helped a tiny bit was to force ReBar on via nvidiaProfileInspector. It did not fix the fluctuations but it seems to add few more FPS to overall performance as a cushion.

Indeed. At this stage it's soo bad that you feel like we should be compelled to appreciate Capcom with RE4 - as if they've achieved something great for merely doing their job.

I think it is an NVidia game ready driver problem. I looked up benchmarks on 7900XTX and it is silky smooth at 4k FSR and RT enabled maxed settings. I'm a bit sus to think NVidia botched the driver.

Might be worth reverting the latest driver and testing it without the latest one.

You wouldn't say that if you seen it run on consoles, it's crap, really crap.
