Achievements not unlocking

I've played about 4 hours of this game. Achievements just do not unlock - whether it's in the EA App or in Steam. I log in to my EA App before starting the game and it just doesn't work.

People seem to have had some luck getting achievements but I just can't seem to. Has anyone else come across this? I've tried launching from Steam and EA App and neither solution works.

Does anyone have any advice?

EDIT AS OF 3 MAY

Achievements have started working now that data usage / sharing has been enabled in game. The achievements were activated in the EA App once I went into a skill tree and exited the game (like many players have commented). Still no Steam achievements but can confirm that all achievements that I thought were "lost" (e.g. relating to bosses defeated previously) were all reactivated in the EA App at this point and some other achievements have since activated as and when I got them.

Steam and EA still don't like talking to each other AND EA overlay still doesn't work. This hasn't been fixed as far as I can see BUT at least I'm getting the achievements somewhere and hopefully this will port across...

yeah sorry no clue, I have the same problem right now... I'm just hoping really hard that they can get me all my achievements becuase i really don't want to do a whole nother run of this game. I tried installing origin instead on ea play but that didn't trigger any of them so i'm lost for solutions. we're in this together mate.

not sure if posting to another discussion is something allowed since I rarely do this discussion thing, but this is what helped me when I had the same issue. Hopefully it will help you in some way.

Though for the story achievements, I did have to replay the bit of the story that I had already played to unlock them.

This game has WAY more important things to be fixed than pointless fluff like achievements.

Sorry. I spent several hours trying different things and that was the only solution for me. When I made the new save I just took the whole save file out as a backup then started the game. It auto-downloaded the my old save, so maybe that was part of it too? I'm not sure.

So that might be an idea? go to users/save games/Respawn/JediSurvivor and move the whole file to idk your desktop and try starting like that? if it does not work then just put the file back? maybe the creation of the new file for me was the thing that fixed it. I really am not sure.

For me I launched from EA app instead of steam. And it unlocked them. I hear that worked for some people but not all. After I did that and saw them all unlock on steam while running it from the EA app I just launch from steam and they unlock.

May not work though.

I found a thread on the EA forums about someone who had their achievements working and then managed to break their achievements. Apparently disabling usage sharing can break achievements. I always disable this sort of setting if any game has it. Re-enabled it on this game and ran to pet the nearest bogling to test it, and the achievement popped immediately. Hope this helps.

i almost have all the achievements but they never popped when i "achieved" them. i usually had to exit the game AND close steam fully, relaunch, go to a meditation ring and go into the skill tree menu and most of the time they popped. really weird, sorry if it doesnt help but thought i'd try to help out.

30 hours of gameplay and still 0/53 achievements on Steam and 0 on EA. It's gonna be super frustrating if achievements won't pop retrospectively, because I just don't want to go through all the game again. If I only knew about problem like this I would make a refund immуdiately before I started playin

Hey this was me! Even enabling usage sharing didn't fix it for me sadly.

Same issue here. First day no luck on the trophies, 2nd day a lot of trophies unlock at the same time on those I completed, Now I'm missing achievements again, particularly the helping the pit droid on the tar pits, killing 10 people with the point blank blaster, shoving enemy on the canon and the cobra kai achievement.

Advice? Hmm... Maybe wait two days. That's how long it took for 'Skywalker' to unlock for me after I performed the action to get it.

every once in a while, bunch of achievements randomly unlocks for me, eventho ive done them way before already, like those story related achievements.

For now, they only thing you can do is wait and wish yourself luck that it also somehow randomly unlocks for you.
