Turning off RT and disabling nvidia overlay has made the game playable for me.

I have old mid range hardware and was getting huge judders and low fps on all settings I tried.

Changing settings to med/high, turning off RT and the nvidia overlay has massively improved things, I can actually play the game now without having seizures.

I know the game requires a patch but thought this may help others while we all patiently wait for an optimisation patch.

Re-Bar and the Nvidia Profile Inspector Re-Bar Profile and u get the whole Game 100% GPU Usage.
But nobody listen and i gave up.
I think Re-Bar close the CPU Bound and open the Gate to the GPU.
It needs to be fixed, but u can get the whole experience now :D

It’s just disabling RT alone, apparently this game doesn’t precompile any shaders for RT and most of the other assets in this game, leaving for a very stuttery experience. RT off means less stutter

no you dont, im lucky to get 40% gpu usage while sitting at 80 fps with a 4090/7800x3d

who uses ddr3 ram these days? you need some upgrades.

use your brain, 4090 is faster in CPU limit than a 3090.
And my 3090 is done with 80 fps, your 4090 can do much more sure.
40 % is a lie on 4k, if u dont play on 4k why a 4090 :D

I've been rocking a 4790k and DDR 3 for some years now and this is the first game I've played with performance issues.

Mile Morales was locked at 60gps with RTX:on. Far Cry 6 ran awesome too with 60fps and Ray Tracing.

I'm not saying I don't need an upgrade just saying how great it's been so far.

i play EVERY game on 1440 on max settings 140fps plus with my 3090.

My plan was also a 4090, but i never come in a situation that i need one.
In 1 1/2 year the 50 Series make sense. UE 5 Games comes out, and at this point we need new GPUs.

U can play 4k 120 - 140 fps brother with a 4090 ;)
easy.
Think about to upgrade your monitor, to use your GPU, use this benefit.

Dudeeeeeee i love u. So before: "i9-10900K - rtx 3070 if i set everything on low it loocks ♥♥♥♥ and it still lag" i was running like this (ofc RT off), but now i turn off nvidia overlay and im playing with all high setting and texture on medium and it work better than before, at least i can play the game...still need some work but i love u man :) i dont even have an idea why it work :)
