Controls broken when keyboard is used
Movement with keyboard+mouse has occasional hiccups. Sometimes, Cal keeps moving for about 10 seconds even though no key is pressed – as if the WASD keys are stuck. Usually, the camera still works, so you can avoid falling off a cliff by rotating the camera accordingly. However, this doesn't work if you’re locked onto an enemy because you can’t rotate the camera then, and no further inputs are registered during this input lag/freeze. Inputs during this time are queued up, and when the bug is resolved, the other inputs made during that time are executed.

Yes I notice this too. I was recording some gameplay. My B button on xbox was disable. Tutorial keep telling me press B button and nothing happen. I went into setting and reset control. Now it works fine.

I had huge controller lag after the last patch until I turned of vibration and haptic feedback.

It does specifically state for best experience we recommend playing with a controller. fallen order says the same thing

Where do I turn on or off haptic feedback?

I just got the game on EA App after the patch.

My controller(Logitech F310) doesn't work at all. Whenever I move joystick or press a button, my keyboard kept trying to interfere with my controller. I can tell because the keyboard layout prompt kept taking over.

For now, I am playing as keyboard until there's a fix.

Irrelevant. It's supposed to be possible and the relevant control too do so has no effect. That is a called a bug. Which control scheme is recommended has nothing to do with the existence of the bug. If there is a bug, it must be fixed.

This. And, in Fallen Order the k+m controls were absolutely fine … Another thing/bug was that you could not drop with "Y" which is the key for evade/drop and evade/drop has its double allocation on the gamepad, too. Fix was to set the key as secondary input with primary input (where it usually should be) empty. Don’t know how it is now, as I am still stuck in Jedha HQ (always crashing within minutes, so that I cannot make progress in the base fast enough to get out of there)

As a little plus: I can play much better with m+k than gamepad … same for Elden Ring, Dark Souls and many others where “gamepad is the recommended“ control type. As long as the controls are not bugged …

This (see the bold) really fixed most issues for me in the beginning.
