Any way to make cinematics full screen?
Any time there is a cinematic the game shows black borders on the top and bottom of the screen, essentially cutting off 25% of the screen. It's a bit annoying. Is there any way to make them a true full screen?

I don't see any relevant options for cinematics. My game is set to fullscreen mode in 1440p.

I would like to know that too.
I find this annoying too, especially on pc where not everyone has a huge screen.

Not sure why developers don't just offer a simple option to turn it off ingame.

Pretty sure that's a creative choice. To make the player know that you're watching a cinematic and not game play.

Might be but I find it immersion breaking and don't like it nevertheless.
And I notice when there is a cutscene..I don't need black borders to tell me ;-)

There isnt a way becuase they do it so you know when your playing the game and watching a cutscene becuase people would get confused if it wasnt.

That's a pretty lame argument.

They can implement an option in the menu. If there are really that confused people around they wouldn't even find the setting to disable it in the menu anyway. So they wouldn't get confused at the first place.
The black borders are pretty important. If I see a cinematic that doesn't have black borders I become extremely confused and fall off my chair. I can't move until someone explains that it was a cinematic to me.

So searching for a solution online I found the following:

https://github.com/Lyall/JediSurvivorFix/releases/tag/v1.0.1

Tested it and seems to work (atleast in the first cutscene) :)
