No dialogue at all!
Is anyone else having the same problem I am?
I launched the game, the game did it's optimization thing, whatever.
The beginning little flashback cinematic begins and whilst I have subtitles telling me what the characters are saying, there is no dialogue AT ALL! There is other audio, sfx, music, EVERYTHING. There is just no dialogue audio AT ALL

I am having this as well. It's not ALL dialogue audio but it's the majority of it. It's almost like the sound is there but at like .5% volume. I can tell there is supposed to be audio but can't make it out. I've checked my devices and my sound applications. It's odd. There are options for controller audio but that only applies to ps5 controllers, right? And only when they are plugged in. (odd that there are no options for dualsense button icons though). I've tried plugging it in to see if it is trying to come through the controller but I haven't heard anything from it yet.

The controller I'm playing with doesn't have any audio capabilities, it's just a cheap redragon one I bought one day. So it shouldn't be trying to play audio out of that haha!

Same problem here. Verified files, but it didn't help.

I also updated my drivers too and then verified the files. I had to do so a few times but eventually it worked. That's why I marked it as answered

I found the solution! I started playing and faced the same issue; the main character's voice was nos audible, both in cut scenes and in game. It seems that Windows was treating my Stereo Speakers as a 5.1 channels set, therefore I was only hearing the "background noise", meaning SFX, Music and extras, but not the main dialogue. It can be adjusted in Control Panel / Sound /Configure (for the current setup. And selecting Stereo insstead of 5.1 Surround.

Thanks, I also had to download new files - worked for me - 6 files missing - fought Dagan with no audio - thanks
