Is there a fix for the low gpu usage, 45% to 70%.
The game runs at very low gpu usage on my 4090 and i9 12900k no matter what settings I use. Is there a temporary fix for this or do we just need to wait for a patch. The game actually seems to run at a lower gpu usage without fsr enabled.

Rt does nada with fsr on. Gpu goes from 70% to 60% no fps change. I'm on 4090 7950x3d. Had to also force the game to use the ccd0 cores that gave me 10 fps increase

I disabled the AMD setting and now I'm back to full GPU usage. However, I lost some fps with doing so. Also, the game looks the same with or without that AMD setting on.

For reference: I'm running a 3080 12gb and 12700kf @165hz @1440p. With that AMD setting on "quality", I was topping out at 105fps. GPU was somewhere at 40-50%. With the setting disabled, I'm around 75fps and the GPU is in the 90-100% range. I don't know if this helps anybody but just adding some info. Hopefully a patch is coming soon. Good luck everyone

Edit: Also RT off

The fix that worked for me was setting JediSurvivor.exe to realtime while running.

Go to task manager -> details -> JediSurvivor.exe -> set priority -> realtime

While this fix isn't 100% it should allow the game to more properly utilize your cpu and gpu.
thank you. omg. thank you. this doubled my fps even on Koboh. i love you.

For me GPU utilization sits at about 60% with fsr and 90% without on a 4080. In koboh I get maybe 5-6 FPS more with fsr

I figured out using windowed mode with frame generation (if you have it) and the the nvidia app vertical sync (not the game vertical sync) fixed most stutters and depending on settings gave 60+fps on 2K and 30 to 50 on 4k.

1. Download nvidia newest app (not GeForce experience)
2. Optimize for your monitors current resolution
3. Pick an option that has frame gen
4. Scroll down and select Vertical sync to on (not fast) and latency to ultra

Once you open the game be sure to change it to boarderless windows.

Finally if your like me and play on a 4k TV with a 4070 laptop or whatever that can't play this crazy ♥♥♥♥ in 4k... the best thing to do is just adjust the resolution of your monitor or TV to 2k or 1080 and then do the baorderless windows. (The game will boarderless window to the resolution of the current setting not the max of the TV/ monitor.) Idk why this for some reason fixed everything for me.

20% CPU utilization, in a technical sense, does not mean the game is not CPU bound. It could, for instance, be very poorly multithreaded and using 100% of 2 cores and 0% of the other ones, resulting in 20% CPU utilization but the performance of those CPU cores still bottlenecking the GPU. In fact this is almost certainly the case. But it doesn't change the overall issue which is that optimization is needed.

And this is exactly what happens in nine out of ten “I have a 4090, why does game xy still stutter for me” threads, as users with such a card tend not to cap their fps, then only look at the total utilization of their CPU and thus of course do not recognize their bottleneck as games do not use the cores evenly OR completely AND "AAA"-games usually are poorly CPU-optimized.

The game's issues are CPU related not GPU. So graphics settings won't help it.
