Game crash after launch credits: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000

SOLVED!! I fixed it, and it was way easier than I'd like to admit. Try uninstalling and re-installing your Adrenaline drivers. This worked for me, and a few others have said it worked for them as well.

Description of issue: I will launch the game, get the intro showing me "Respawn Entertainment, Unreal Engine, EA, Lucasfilm Game, and then finally Star Wars Jedi: Survivor", and right before (I assume) the menu would open, the game crashes giving me the error "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000"

For those of you having this issue, essentially the game is trying to access an invalid memory address. Think of it like your GPS telling you to go down a highway that doesn't exist. Currently (to my knowledge) there is not a fix for this short of factory resetting your PC. This is what we get for believing that game devs would do the bare minimum and make sure the game actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works.

Things you should try if you haven't already:
-The most obvious, restart your PC
-Re-install the game
-Repair/Re-install EA Play
-Try installing on a different drive in a new directory
-Make sure all drivers are up to date
-And of course, make sure your system meets minimum requirements*

*I know people playing with low tier cards like a GTX 970 @ 720p, low settings, and getting 60 FPS, so minimum requirements are a suggestion.

Part of me wonders if this is an AMD issue, except I have friends running on current gen AMD CPU/GPUs and they are not having issues. And before anyone says "uPDaTe uR DRivErS" everything is up to date. Those of you also having this issue, if you could respond with your system specs, just so we could see if it's due to a specific piece of hardware, that would be appreciated. Î'm getting this error usually 20-30 minutes into the game. the system is brand new and up to date, the game was actually a freebie with the graphics card...
all AMD here too.

Validate the game, and you may need to re-install your drivers. As in do a totaly removal ( https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/uninstall-nvidia-amd-intel-gpu-drivers ) and then reload them.

Other issue is if the video card is over heating or the processor is, but those normally get you a blue screen and windows rebooting. Though video card driver crashes can just go to a black screen, and then windows comes back.

so, i fixed it with uninstalling do do a "driver only" reinstall of the adrenalin drivers.

have done everything except installing a hdd.... cause i dont have one anymore... nothing works :( 6 hours of trying to get into game now... refund incoming i guess

turn razor connect off in synapse it try's to link into games it isn't made to work with and causes a memory leak (i think im less then an armature i just know how to change and test results and this has been the most reliable change ive tested) ps when razor updates it turns this setting back on ive even changed and tested my over clock and an underclock ive tried different drivers and graphics api and settings resting my global settings nothing worked but turning razor connect off did and it got turned back on during and update and had a crash this has also caused issues in over watch and dead by daylight and some other games ive played with my keypad if i didn't have arthritis i wouldn't ever touch a razor product tbh their software is horrible and the alternatives flag easy anti cheat ironically as their macros aren't have as advanced as razors but I'm rambling due to frustration any how good luck pioneers

I had the same problem.
One solution about this crash : change your resolution.
I know it sucks but it's the only way I found

i havd same problem, your metyhod dont work for me. i fixed it by updated my BIOS and slowed down RAM speed. others can try this method.

in my case i had to change fullscreen to windowed fullscreen

Not exclusive to AMD GPUs. I'm running Nvidia and this problem keeps happening. I can't start holotactics at all because it keeps crashing with this error
