Game crash after launch credits: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000
SOLVED!! I fixed it, and it was way easier than I'd like to admit. Try uninstalling and re-installing your Adrenaline drivers. This worked for me, and a few others have said it worked for them as well.

Description of issue: I will launch the game, get the intro showing me "Respawn Entertainment, Unreal Engine, EA, Lucasfilm Game, and then finally Star Wars Jedi: Survivor", and right before (I assume) the menu would open, the game crashes giving me the error "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000000"

For those of you having this issue, essentially the game is trying to access an invalid memory address. Think of it like your GPS telling you to go down a highway that doesn't exist. Currently (to my knowledge) there is not a fix for this short of factory resetting your PC. This is what we get for believing that game devs would do the bare minimum and make sure the game actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ works.

Things you should try if you haven't already:
-The most obvious, restart your PC
-Re-install the game
-Repair/Re-install EA Play
-Try installing on a different drive in a new directory
-Make sure all drivers are up to date
-And of course, make sure your system meets minimum requirements*

*I know people playing with low tier cards like a GTX 970 @ 720p, low settings, and getting 60 FPS, so minimum requirements are a suggestion.

Part of me wonders if this is an AMD issue, except I have friends running on current gen AMD CPU/GPUs and they are not having issues. And before anyone says "uPDaTe uR DRivErS" everything is up to date. Those of you also having this issue, if you could respond with your system specs, just so we could see if it's due to a specific piece of hardware, that would be appreciated. Good luck, and may the force be with you.

PC Specs-
CPU: 5700x
GPU: 6800XT
RAM: 32GB 3200mhz DDR4
Storage: Clean 1tb Samsung EVO NVME

Same issue here.

Specs

CPU - 5800x
GPU - 6750xt
RAM - 32gb 3600 CL16

All drivers are up to date, I’ve verified game files, rebooted etc!

Only thing I have not tried is uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers which I’ve seen somewhere that could work.

If anyone with this issue tries this can you let us know, I can’t try until this evening

updating gpu drivers (rx 6800 via adrenalin) fixed it for me.
my current version for adrenalin is 23.4.2 with driver version 22.40.51.01 (Windows Driver Store Version 31.0.14051.1000).

same issue. tried all trouble shoots except the factory reset and gpu driver update. I'll try that next. specs as follows.
CPU - Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core
Memory - 32 gb 3200MHz
GPU - Radeon RX 6900xt

*updating my GPU drivers has not helped.
**new update. i have an ssd and a hard-drive. previously the game was installed on the ssd and constantly crashed. I deleted it and reloading it on my hard drive and it finally worked. not only that but my 6900xt has been able to deliver north of 60 fps fairly consistently on maxed settings. the game is glorious. it just hates ssd's for some reason.

Uninstall gpu software and update to latest one. Reinsert ram on motherboard.

Install on m.2 ssd if you have one or ssd

This means some code is trying to access the protected system area of memory. Its usually driver related. Because games and apps really would have a difficult time having code that would be able to access that part of memory. Drivers operate in a lower tier of the OS and access things games do not.

I have the same problem. Tried everything you suggested.
Specs:
CPU: 9900k
GPU: 5700xt
Ram: 32 gb 3200mhz DDR4
Driver: Adrenalin PRO 22.Q4

Guess I'll have to wait a little before they patch it.

This worked for me, and a few others have said it worked for them as well. I hope this works for the rest of yall. Another user has reported that loading on an HDD instead of an SSD has worked for them.

That's not necessarily a GPU driver error...
