60ish in intro planet, dips down to 30 at points, past that over 90 fps, amd dynamic res option on quality. no real performance issues, unfortunate to those that are having problems, soon patches should fix

assuming you arent exaggerating at all, posts like yours give me hope. if there are even a few people who can run it ok, I think patches might improve things across the board. I just hope its not like TLoU where the CPU bottleneck is so severe it will probably never get fixed entirely

I’m genuinely not exaggerating. I think the game just doesn’t like 4k high end systems or really low systems. I have a feeling they were cut short on time for optimizing all hardware equally and investors didn’t want another delay. It’ll get fixed soon. Respawn is still a good studio

I'm playing on a 3080 and I'm not having any issues so far, with everything on Ultra. I think I'm getting around 50fps most of the time, unless there's a tonne going on onscreen, so it's not terrible. I have faith they'll get any performance issues patched out soon for everyone though.

I’m sure if the game didn’t start on corrasont way less people would be complaining. It’s a demanding planet

Coruscant, while having a few issues, is actually fine for the most part. The open area on Koboh is where the real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ begins. Those dips into the 30s you encountered on Coruscant? Well, better get comfortable with them because Koboh will keep you in those 30s quite regularly.

''60 ish...dips to 30''....people have strange ass definitions of what smooth is these days. a 3080ti and above should be capable of soooo much more for games like this. heck the first game runs like triple the fps I'm getting now

3090ti with a 5900x, playing on 2560x1440 with rt off and i never go higher then 60.. most of the time 40 to 55 fps.. with rt on my frames go down to around 30.. i wonder how a 3080ti can get 90 fps with rt on

The dips happen infrequently. Mostly when loading a new area so it doesnt effect actual gameplay

Are you using fsr? And its cpu bound. Since we have the same cpu we should be hitting the same bottleneck
