Sad, that's why I am only paying $10 for this game on EA Pro Play and just gonna finish it and buy it off on sale a year or two from now.

Not sure if the story or the general game design is the worst part. While the story is beyond bad the rest is even worse. The only part which was kind of ok was the start on coruscant but afterwards i had trouble playing the game for 15 min straight. Whats the point, endless climb and jump sequences mostly the same every time and at the end you find a box with a new beard.
Story was good. I enjoyed the story campaign.

The story was perfectly fine. Haven't got into High Republic myself yet, but it never felt like I need to do any homework before playing the game. And it made me more interested in it, so I will definitly check it out.

This game is great. There is a swath of pathetic people who hate any thing that isnt the original trilogy or TCW tv show before season 5.
Also, you write like a demented 5 year old. You can't criticize the story that any one comes up with for any medium when you write like you do. I'm not sure how you even tie your shoes or use your phone/pc because my 7 year old has better usage of English in writing than you.

Story was not as good as first. JS villain was not intimidating and lacked real motivation. Bode choosing dark side made no sense if it was about his child. It all just did not work and broke immersion. Then there is the safe haven idea that feels to much like a certain issue that no one is allowed to question...

Jedi forbode attachment, because it can lead to the dark side. Having a daughter to protect is pretty huge attachment, especially when you can be targeted by Imperial Inquisitors. He was afraid for her well being, and as we all know, fear is another path to the dark side. He was so concentrated on defending her by all cost, that he wouldn't allow anyone get in his way. He wouldn't even listen to reason. By the end of the game, he was to far gone, trying to protect her. So yeah, it made perfect sense, that he eventually embraced the darkness.

I mean, that's literally the reason Anakin did it too. He loved Padme so much, he joined the dark side to keep her safe. And Bode loves his daughter just as much.

How did that not make sense? That is what elevates the game for me, from just some Star Wars licensed cash grab, to something that actually enriches the Prequel Trilogy canon.

The "meat", the real "story" stuff, is about relationships.

I have no idea what you are referring to.

Anyone going to the dark side is betraying the one they love. Bode and Anakin did not think it through IMO.

Yes... In desperation, they reach for the dark side, hoping its power can help them save those that they love. But in the end, without realizing it, they just hurt them even more. That's the whole point.

I already understand everything that has been replied. However I think that it does not make for a good story. When a character makes an obvious bad choice, it is easy to question and immersion suffers. It is a video game not a novel, so it is understandable.
