i never had a problem with fallen order even with mods
It's not supposed to be much better on the PS5. Not quite as bad as on the PC at the moment, but there should also be a decent drop in fps
I've been playing it again recently and have had no performance issues.
13600k and 4070ti
As I always do, I work with what I got rather than wishing for what I don't have.
I'm also careful with my workstations. I don't overload them with crud. I don't burden them with useless apps (except stupid required launchers, but all the more reason to keep running apps to a minimum). I never use admin except to install things I know I want to install. I research. I keep a firm grip on my workstations' settings. I don't let the OS do things without my knowledge and, when possible, only by my permission.
Too many people are relying on the computers to handle everything for them and end up with bloated systems struggling to do the simplest things because they let their computers get crowded with stuff.
More trivia: Back when Microsoft Store was introduced in Windows (called Windows Store back then), Microsoft Solitaire Collection (called Microsoft Solitaire in the store back then) would run all the time even when never launched, and it comes with basic installations of Windows and nearly every feature update. First thing I remove with every installation and feature update. Don't care if it doesn't do that anymore.
Keep an eye on what your system is doing. Don't expect everything to be done for you because you won't get to decide what gets done to you. Optimizing your system is all on you.
If they had to pick a spot to gloss over optimization to focus on something else, that would be a good place to do it.
That game at least had decent performance. Respawn choose Unreal because they're more familiar with it than Frostbite.
