New game plus.
I hope they do it right this time. Fallen order only transferred cosmetics and not skill points.

Yeah I hope so too. I know there's story reasons why you unlock abilities at certain times but it would awesome to start off with all lightsaber styles and whatever abilities are unlockable at any certain point

Thinking the same thing.
I recently replayed the game as I didn't know the facts of fallen order's new game plus.
When I found out I instantly uninstalled, I was that disappointed.

Jedi Survivor does look good so I have some hope they have seen the feedback of the previous title and improved the mechanics.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the charge extra for it. EA love to nickel and dime us

This might be me being super hyped for this game, but I can't see them not having a decent New Game+ in this one. So far, it seems like this game is just Fallen Order but better in every way; if they didn't spend at least some time on New Game+ then it will be a bit of a let down.

Everytime I see you comment about new game+ in JFO you're somehow forgetting that they gave us a free dlc.

Here's hoping. An interview discussed how they approached the Metroidvania progress-locking mechanism differently this time. They were (rightly) vague about it, though.

(They could at least have refunded skill points in JFO so, when skills were unlocked, you could upgrade them and their dependent skills immediately. Metroidvania mechanism unharmed.)

They seemed to have learnt. New game plus says it does bring over skill points. I'm still mopping up bounties first before new game plus though.

Well, its a play once type of game, just like Fallen Order....not sure why they have a new game plus to be honest.....games like Kotor or Mass Effect can benefit from New Game Plus....but not Fallen Order or Survivor.

We disagree there. Sometimes you just want to be a OP badass with extra challenges/rewards in a new game.

I found out it is like they said.
Certain force powers and moves though are locked behind story progression, the upgrade trees are greyed out.
Got refunded all my skill points.
Have to get BB's tools back too.

I didn't do the bounties in my first game and in New Game Plus there seems to be a bug that the last two "big picture" bounties are bugged. Ceja wont start the rumor for me and she has no more dialogue. I tried going to Oso location and not there. Kinda bummed that is the last two things I would have for everything completed.
