I am stuck right after learning the lift and slam ability, it wont let me use the abilities anyone know how to help?

This is too vague. Where exactly are you trying to use the ability? Be aware that there's something down in the muck just over the edge of the walkway. I keep forgetting that it's there and spend a few minutes looking around for a way forward. Nothing else can be lifted or slammed at that point.

Keyboard or Controller? I know controller is RB+Y/A (Xbox controller) or R2+🔼/⏹️ (DualSense/Shock). I don't know the keyboard control for it.

I use controller and whenever i first unlock the ability and go to use or turrents im not able too the ability wont work.

Well, this is on my second save, I would have found this glitch sooner if not for "Save file corrupted" for whatever reason. Focused more on the main story, & I am stuck at the Lift/Slam part with the turrets & the door.

I use KB/M typically, but trying a controller I just jump, Focus doesn't appear to do anything here.

Tried deliberately dying, no difference, I tried many times to go back to the menu & load it, even back out of the game entirely, again, no difference. I would try a new game, but I feel I will just be wasting my time, why only use a single save file? I am stuck here behind a pillar in the centre of the room.

I am also stuck here, focus doesn't do anything and i just jump.

I tried restarting the game, load with safe file, verify game files, reinstall the game, restart pc, rebind keys, change setting to default and still nothing. I also had issues with focus before, it only worked half of the time.

Now i am just waiting for the update so i can play the game again

Turns out I was on an unlucky run, just went past it after restarting the game... for the fourth time.

I had a UI glitch on my third run after getting killed by the Ninth Sister, the interact prompt for both getting on top of the downed aircraft plus the small fighter you have to interact with just shoots in my direction. It was on this run, I started this morning, actually surprised it worked.

Must have screwed something up with the Focus ability before. I just make a habit of keeping a copy of a save, so hopefully if I encounter something else I can just fall back on a file with some progress as opposed to starting from the very beginning.

Hey I encountered the same thing today. I am just stuck in that room and can't pull down the turrets or open the door. Super frustrating that this is still an issue after all this time. Would be really grateful if anyone found a solution.
