Forest Array mission

I got a screen tear during the forest array mission cut scene and it took my character out of the cutscene and now i am trapped in a room with no way to reset the mission or fast travel out.

It is unplayable and I dont want to restart the whole game for this to happen again. What a let down.

even if you shut the game down and restart it ??

As phoenix mentioned, exiting the game and returning (or exiting to the main menu and reloading the most recent) should put you back to the most recent fast-travel/meditation point you used. If you haven't used any in a very long time, there's not much anyone can do for it.

I highly recommend quickly using meditation points each time you pass by them to record your progress. You can't fast travel to it when you're stuck like you say, but it provides a restore point that won't take you so far back in your game. I've only used that feature once... because I accidentally hit the wrong button during a conversation... even though that has zero impact on anything in this game. Took me back to the point I saved just before starting the convo. Lost no progress.

I just encountered this bug and I'm blown away that it is over 6 months later that this show stopper of a bug still exists. Absolute fail.

Bugs and glitches are hardly trademarks of Jedi Survivor, mate. ♥♥♥♥ happens and there's no such thing as perfect.

Reloading the game gets me out of the room but the mission is still bugged. Can't leave the forest array to go elsewhere, can't fast travel. Unless there's a way to revert save games then it seems like I'm SOL and can't play the game anymore.

For this bug having first been reported sometime in April 2023 (afaik) I cannot believe EA / Respawn has allowed this bug to exist for this long. It's embarrassing.

I am gonna tell you what to do if you wanna get a refund or a fix.

Make a vid of this happening and showing you can't get out. Post it on Steam to the Fallen Order pages and then contact tech support and send them the link as proof the game is broken.

I think am gonna do it whenever I get white flashes from now on.

Time to put those as*hole company on blast.
