i have one of the fastest systems on the planet and iits 30 fps now
when game opening its slow as hell
shudders and freezes
where before on patch 4
smooth as sugar 100 fps plus
so its about
60 percent slower on a 5ghz intel system with gtx1080ti and fastest cut down windows 10 you can get from team os hong kong tech group
request patch 6 they do do some real programming
and sort out the speed problem by hand coding the slow parts of the game code
its hard work to do that
a lot of hours to speed up the slow code
i recon they never do it hey
they have no idea i bet
easy to see no testing done on patchs
hand code s;low parts of code
this is the only fix to your speed problem
our only hope of getting back the fast version is the piratebay version now
But no, worse than it ever has been for me.
After unlocking the shortcut to where the nomads have set up camp frame rate is dropping to low 40's and watching the rolling frametime graph with MSI Afterburner there are random odd spikes. These spikes have no rhyme or reason to them, you can be fighting enemies and getting a steadier frame rate but at times nothing going on and it can tank.
Also noticed the stuttering and hitching is now back worse than ever - didn't have too much trouble with it previously as it usually only happened with scene transitions like going through a crevice into a new area or coming out of a cutscene. Running down a small hallway with a single window and not much else around following Bode stuttering like crazy.
Frame rate is jumping around so erratically it caused an ocular migraine where you get a blurry spot on your vision (both eyes) with a kaleidoscope rainbow effect round the edges. This is something that hasn't happened to me in years now so will have to leave alone until they drop the next patch.
But the most crucial thing for me is the fact that I am getting crashed on every planet, especially Jedha.
They still did not fix it.
That's so terrible though. 40 FPS on a 1200 dollar 4080 GPU...? It's nice to hope and feel good but jesus that's horrible.
It seems I have gotten few FPS, around 5 but it varies depending on places, for general game play. The stutter is still there but I do not think it got better or worse.
The patch, however, introduced new visual glitches and significant texture pop-in and flickering in certain areas. I assume this is Respan's attempt to improve data loading but it is not working properly as areas with different depths indoors now have a lot of texture pop-ins and white flicker when I look around.
My specs: i7 8700k - 16gb ddr4 - RTX 2070
To be honest, you have no business running games with RT enabled with that spec. You should still get decent FPS on appropriate resolution and quality settings with your setup.
Funny thing is the game works better with RT enabled for me since it is crashing without it.
