Tannalor Question (spoilers)
So what's the allure of Tannalor? Why was Dagan obsessed with it? I just beat the game and was expecting some answers to these questions but I must be going crazy because these seem like pretty big plot points that were never explained.

I kept expecting them to reveal Tannalor makes Jedi's obsesses or is made of the force or something like that. Why would a normal-ish planet make Dagan completely flip to the Dark Side?

Also how did the moon explode? Who were the bad guys that invaded? Where did they go? So many questions 😓

I don't think anything about the planet *MADE* Dagan go dark, think that was in him all along. Otherwise it *is* supposed to be very strong in the force and other commentators have suggested that all that force could have a deleterious effect - like alcoholism or something.

Moon? - dunno

Bad Guys were the Nihil - the name is mentioned in some of the lore entries and you can read more about them on the wookepedia.

Where did they go? ... I asked that question first :-P

The Moon was apparently destroyed by an Emergence, which were instances of debris from a specific High Republic ship being jettisoned out of hyperspace in random locations in the Outer Rim.

that's a crazy thing! the high republic was jettisoning asteroids out randomly at light speed across the galaxy? that's more deranged than the death star. at least it had a specific target in mind and not just chaotic anarchic planet genocides

Not exactly, a ship was damaged while in hyperspace, so the debris from it got sent out randomly through hyperspace lanes.

The game expected us to know some High Republic facts. I don't have D+ or any High Republic novels. So, I had to read up to figure out what they were referencing.

A random epilogue dialog points to a possible problem with Tannalorr that might escape the notice of people with too much enthusiasm to see it. Someone with direct experience with the problem points it out in the epilogue (through repeated conversation attempts), but someone else pretty much just waves away the cautious recommendation.

Note: Conversations come in bursts where a character or characters will shut down further dialog until the protagonist leaves and returns. Incidental dialog between NPCs can happen at any time, including when the protagonist is just about to leave an area and misses most of the conversation. I'd sometimes just put Cal near a pair of NPCs close to each other and wait while I do something else (like adulting stuff) rather than pause the game.

I find this annoying as one who wants to hear every line of dialog.
