Cool, not sure why you think a bunch of strangers would care that you won't be getting the game because it's not a multiplayer game but ok

You're better off contacting the developers directly through their website or social media. I really doubt they're going to see or care about some rando posting on Steam that they're going to "pass" on the game because it's not multiplayer, even though it was never advertised as multiplayer and despite the 1st game not being multiplayer.
If you want Coop, play BattleFront II. The 4P Coop missions are very active as the rest of the MP is kinda filled with Hackers and is a good way to grind levels, and It is very easy to find games in it. I had lots of fun, despite the number of maps in it.
And the price is because of the influx. I've seen games going for $70 for some reason, I guess the economy and also, Sony started it by making PS5 titles start going for that much so companies followed suit. Stupid but I'll wait for this to go on sale in the future or get a key after it's had it's run.
