I have 1060 6gb, will i be able to play?

Im playing The last of us now on medium texture, and it gets to 6.3 gb vram and I can play fine, so the limit doesn't mean much. Is the 8gb vram requirement a dealbreaker?

Minimum requirements are mostly still just a suggestion. Normally, if you are fine with "not stable 60fps", it should be aleast somewhat playable.

Played dead space remake on release and did not meet min req at all, but it was still fine to play.
Upgraded PC since then and can run it on max settings just fine.

All in all, you will have to give it a try an see if it is ok for you.

How did you get Last of Us Remake too work?? how much ram you have?? cause i had to refund it cause i didn't have enough ram for it to even start

16gb, i play on lowest settings.

The only thing you can do is reinstall windows lite version. There are many on the internet. Legal and illegal. But its a little difficult, you need to know what you're doing. But even then its not a guarantee that the game works. If this is too pro for you, try to increase page size limit a lot, like 10 gb and disable every service except windows services, simply free ram of everything besides the gpu drivers. You might get lucky and launch a game. Also read about tweaking down games, low end mods, and modifying game inis. If you research a lot, you can run everything. I was always doing it, because i always had subpar pc. Last couple of years i had a great pc, but it got old. I still run everything. These tips are in general, you won't run the last of us, it takes about 14gb ram and i play on the lowest.

I am betting on that. Videocards are way too pricey here for me to buy a new one right now. Hoping i can play on low req with 6gbvram too.
If not i will try a refund.
