Switch pro controller on DS4Windows, game doesn't recognize face buttons after patch 6.5

Only analog stick works after the last update, using my pro controller as Xbox controller. Works perfectly on other games, but not in this game. I tried resetting controller settings in the game, now face buttons work, but they are all wrong LMAO. the right trigger is the atack button now.

Update. Restarted the computer, nothing fixed. Turned off my computer and turned it on again, worked. It was ONLY for this game, everything else worked just fine.

Why do you need ds4windows if Steam has built-in the same functionality, though?

Because I have the game on epic( it had a discount), and putting the game on steam as a non steam game didn't work for me.

Wired. Seems like I can't play any other game BEFORE playing survivor. Otherwise the game thinks I have 2 controllers on. I have to restart windows everytime I want to play the game.
