Development Diary #6 - Marathon Mode released

Good day!

In this Development Diary we’re going to talk about our just released new Game Mode called Marathon Mode. In this requested challenging Game Mode we provide a new way to play the game for experienced Idle players who like to have a longer playthrough and want to collect a lot more Artifacts in the Treasure Room.

This game mode changes a couple of things for players choosing this mode:

• The option Marathon Mode is selected at the New Game window
  
• Unlock costs are x4 the normal costs
  
• Drop Artifact costs are 50 Coins
  
• Drop Powerup costs are 100 Coins
  
• Drop Quest Item costs are 100 Coins
  
• Reduce Artifact Coin, Treasure and Score gain from 15 to 5
  
• Reduce Powerup, Powerdown Coin, Treasure and Score gain from 30 to 10
  
• Reduce Quest Item Coin, Treasure and Score gain from gain from 30 to 10
  
• The Coin Regeneration Rate is 5x the normal rate
  
• Coin Regenerator gives x0.2 times the normal increase
  
• Green High Value Coins are 2 Coin, Treasure and Score instead of 5
  
• Red High Value Coins are 3 Coin, Treasure and Score instead of 10

Note: Unfortunately we had to disable the Leaderboard Unlock for new players because of a bug on Steam’s end. We are in close contact with Valve and hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible for you to challenge other players again. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
