Huntsman’s Son Vitek- wtf does he actually give you for your 100 golds?
I have given him 200 groschen for training in stealth and hunting although, once he takes your money and the hour of “training” passes”, there’s no pop up to signify what benefit has been bestowed upon your character. I look in the Player tab and I don’t see any obvious alterations to my stats or character. What in the hell does this dude actually do for you? 200 groschen is a lot right now!

These training lessons just give you some exp in the corresponding skill but not neccessarily enough to grant a level up which is why they are basically wasted money.

You are better of using a henries fox potion which increases exp gain by 50% and then actively sneak around guards/bandits or use whatever skill you want to improve

I had it a few times that there was no pop-up after paying for training. The last time it happened I checked it and I got the progress including a perk point. Not sure if its always like this when ther eis no pop-up, but could just be a visual issue

I see, thanks. A painful lesson!
you should gain xp in the skills and get a pop up that whatever skill has improved even if it didn't level up. I didn't really use the skill training much though. Could it be your skill is too high that 100 groschen level training can't help you? Otherwise it bugged out and took your money or just didn't do the pop up.

Yeah, but you still get an informing pop-up usually about gained progress...even if it wasn't enough for a level

Can you murder him and get money back?

Hmm, I’m almost certain I didn’t get a pop up. I bought another lesson just to make sure nothing else popped up signifying an increase of sorts. Hopefully the exp l got added to my tally regardless.

Afaik you only ge a popup if the skill actually increased. If the exp given were not enough to trigger a level up of the corresponding skill you won´t get a pop up.

Thanks for confirming. A nice QoL would be an Exp increase notification.
