Anyone else having memory leak problems with rtx 4080?

I've noticed while i play my GPU VRAM creeps up to its maximum of 16gb, then the game crashes. Just curious if anyone else noticed this on their systems as well.

never had this issue:
7800x3d
rtx4080
48gb ram

i play on experimental settings, 1440p and dlss quality(80-180fps). vram usually around ~7-14ish gb, depending where i am. i played multiple 14h blocks now and 80h in.
sure you got no mods fideling with it?

Funny you should mention that I was just complaining about this to a friend. I got a 4080 super that can pretty much run anything with no issues. But for some reason I keep randomly crashing now that I've reached the mid-game. Pure random. I've never crashed say when in the middle of an epic battle or cut scene, its always weird situations like when I'm sitting on a bench in someones kitchen reading a skill book.

mine will crash when i sit in my inventory too long, i've noticed it on the map as well. Hopefully they will address this soon.

That makes sense to me, when I'm grinding through books its usually when I'm in my room or near my room so I'm constantly playing around with my inventory and my stash's inventory.

Yeah, I have had this on my 4090. Though after the game crashes I noticed I still had several GB of VRAM in use. I had to restart my machine to clear it. So I think the GPU driver needs an update as well. I'd keep an eye on the Nvidia driver page. I've only seen this on this game, but GPU drivers are often updated to work better with a particular game.
