I didn't know you could marry someone to be honest. Also sex before marriage was fairly common, even though it wasnt permitted. It was usually frowned upon if you bore a child out of marriage, not sex in of it self

Unfortunately not. The game is way more "modern" then the first one. In my case for not using prostitutes in baths, my Henry was classified as gay by the game and when I finally had a romance, I've got awkward comments afterwards.
