@Devs, still there? A patch would be nice?
Its been 2 weeks since release and Warhorse has spent more time on making videos praising their own success than making even the smalles hotfix or even so much as a post communicating potential upcoming fixes.

This game has tons of bugs. Several quests are outright broken and simply not playable, f.e. 'Invaders' and Tournament. Crime and NPC knowledge system is as broken as Oblivions' and tons of cosmetic bugs like forging blanks clipping through anvils and many more misc. issues.

Yet so far we got 4 videos of Warhorse yanking their own pizzle and not even a single attempt on fixing this games' issues.

Inb4 5 other ppl come in and start insulting Don. LOL

I totally agree man, the pushing of the product and boasting of copies sold is really gross. Focus should be fixing crucial bugs during the first month. Not even a Patch 1 Hotfix.

I made the same post (pretty much) and the amount of white knights being okay with a product not working on release and not being patched in first two weeks in crazy.

Not to mention majority of ppl who bought the game on launch are likely done or almost done with the campaign.

I know I am, I'm pretty much completely done with the game, handful of side quests I just in general CANT do because the NPC wont start the quest series.

I literally had the main storyline completely bug out and lost an hour of gameplay. Not including all the side quests I'm just indefinitely locked out of. (even though I have a ( ! )
Oh look someone gave you a Clown award because they're salty you're asking for a patch instead of product promotion :)
I agree. I get that they want to advertize their product but I would prefer it if there were more communication regarding the many bugs and issues.

A little "Hey guys we are aware of the issues and are working hard on a patch to fix these things" would go a long way.

Yea its crazy how some people are so offended, because others are asking for improvements on things they like.
Maybe it was a dev haha

my main issue atm is that I have a repeatable crash whenever I travel back to the Trosky map and then open up the journal and scroll down past the Miri Fatja quest, always makes the game CTD lol.

I just want to reply that the people sitting there making videos, are not the people making the fixes in the background. You can try to sit a marketing-person on the computer and tell them to make fixes, but that would not really be usefull.
So trying to get more marketing going to get more money to hire more people to produce more codefixes would be the best option in my opinion.

Publishing the game in this state is arguable. I believe it's better than a lot of other games I played in the past, but still there are a lot of bugs and missing components.

I feel you. For me it´s alchemy which at first worked flawlessly but now freezes the entire game upon leaving the alchemy bench requiring me to close the game via taskmanager.
While i agree that there is some work to be done...the quests mentioned work perfectly fine. I did both with no issue. The Tournament sometimes gets stuck, if that happens, press T and wait 1h. the waiting will be cancelled as soon as "the time has come", meaning either your opponent didnt show up etc (just make sure you stand in your corner in case your opponent does not show up). That way, you can also skip watching the other fights. As for the Invaders quest: There are multiple solutions. You can either talk the guys out of going back to the Tavern or simply kill them, the choice is yours.

Hey, appreciate the explanation. Im fully aware of that and did not mean to convey that they are allocating resources away from development.
The main point is that making a video takes a lot of time, but making a post takes mere minutes. A simple acknowledgement and preferably time of date for an upcoming patch would already be enough.

Serious question: do you really believe that the people who do marketing are the same, identical people who do development?

Because in this case I have bad news for you.

What's there to praise about this game? lol Are they basing it on how well it sold during a two year triple A game drought with nothing to compete with? Every mechanic and design choice is one step forward, and one step back. There is a lot of good here, but the glaring flaws, bugs, and downright thoughtless design choices over-shadow and consume almost everything the game does right. It's actually a gaming tragedy and I have a toxic relationship with it. I stick around because I see it's potential, but it never tries to reach that potential and is content with being mediocre at best throughout the entirety of the experience.

they probably still have a hangover from partying and celebrating their success with a lot of saviour-schnapps.:steamhappy:

I agree, woud be nice if Warhorse woud come out of the kink and woud finally bringing a patch.
Yes surely, there are not so much really giant bugs, but many small ones which summer each other and peel the fun to enjoy KcD2.
I mean, there is nobody awaits that two weaks after release everything on such a extensive game is directly fixed, but shops in Kuttenberg that 24h closed, blueprints that cant learned, ect pp.
We dont need fixes for such small bugs after 4 weaks and longer, we need them as quick as possible, after release.

This doesn't always work. I have hit T and waited an entire day an hour at a time with either the announcer not showing up or the opponent not showing up, then having the sword master call me dishonorable for ???? and refuse to offer future tournaments. I tried reloading saves and even going to a prior main quest, replaying hours of content with the Tournament still broken.

I personally started a second playline to play with all the lessons I learned from the game until that point... and am just waiting on a patch to fix that content.
