I totally agree man, the pushing of the product and boasting of copies sold is really gross. Focus should be fixing crucial bugs during the first month. Not even a Patch 1 Hotfix.
I made the same post (pretty much) and the amount of white knights being okay with a product not working on release and not being patched in first two weeks in crazy.
Not to mention majority of ppl who bought the game on launch are likely done or almost done with the campaign.
I know I am, I'm pretty much completely done with the game, handful of side quests I just in general CANT do because the NPC wont start the quest series.
I literally had the main storyline completely bug out and lost an hour of gameplay. Not including all the side quests I'm just indefinitely locked out of. (even though I have a ( ! )
A little "Hey guys we are aware of the issues and are working hard on a patch to fix these things" would go a long way.
Maybe it was a dev haha
So trying to get more marketing going to get more money to hire more people to produce more codefixes would be the best option in my opinion.
Publishing the game in this state is arguable. I believe it's better than a lot of other games I played in the past, but still there are a lot of bugs and missing components.
Hey, appreciate the explanation. Im fully aware of that and did not mean to convey that they are allocating resources away from development.
The main point is that making a video takes a lot of time, but making a post takes mere minutes. A simple acknowledgement and preferably time of date for an upcoming patch would already be enough.
Because in this case I have bad news for you.
Yes surely, there are not so much really giant bugs, but many small ones which summer each other and peel the fun to enjoy KcD2.
I mean, there is nobody awaits that two weaks after release everything on such a extensive game is directly fixed, but shops in Kuttenberg that 24h closed, blueprints that cant learned, ect pp.
We dont need fixes for such small bugs after 4 weaks and longer, we need them as quick as possible, after release.
This doesn't always work. I have hit T and waited an entire day an hour at a time with either the announcer not showing up or the opponent not showing up, then having the sword master call me dishonorable for ???? and refuse to offer future tournaments. I tried reloading saves and even going to a prior main quest, replaying hours of content with the Tournament still broken.
I personally started a second playline to play with all the lessons I learned from the game until that point... and am just waiting on a patch to fix that content.
