Adder and "I don't speak a word in polish"
I mean, modern Czech and Polish languages are similar but in high middle ages, these two were even more similar. I refuse to believe that Henry can't understand dude talking in medieval Polish. it's stupid game design, period.

suck my salty balls, kid
yeah that struck me as odd, but when you think about it, adder is probably first polish guy henry met, remember he was just "peasant", he didnt travel the world like upper class or merchants

you can now understand better, cos international connection is improving, on the other hand, check and slovak languages are 95% similiar, but todays kids in slovakia need subtitles for czech movies and vice versa

than theres question of accent or dialect

possibly, although it seems that all the other Czech characters are also confused when he speaks. Oh well...
Yeah, I thought this too. Polish and Czech are pretty similar. If you need a number on I'd say like 50%. Polish is probably more similar than German and we have German thrown at Henry all the time and he doesn't bat an eye.

Though it was done for flavor...Adder wouldn't have been as memorable with out it.

that might be done for foreign audience, probably to enhance difference, latin languages in same family are very different to slavic ones, english cant understand german, but czech can speak with russian for example and they dont need to learn each other languages

Also Adder is the only one who gets translated subtitles so he is actually the only one Henry understands.. cumans / germans all have their respective subtitle text in the original language but polish is english same as czech is english.
