[Its Almost Harvesting Season]

Does he give anything as a reward besides money? I've seen a single, obscure news site mention a "random skill gain" as a reward but absolutely nobody else seems to mention it. All guides refer to him as a source of money...

So what does listening to his stories actually do? I'm yet to see a skill gain from them and they don't seem to be hints for quests/hidden items in the world either.

So you're confirming the skill gain is legit? Do you know why there's no msg in the corner to mention any skill gain? Is it just random exp allocated to a random skill?

I answered his riddle last night. I asked him to tell me about taverns. He did and I got a popup in the top right corner that my drinking increased. Now maybe its just XP and if you are already high level it wont do much.

I answered his riddle last night. I asked him to tell me about taverns. He did and I got a popup in the top right corner that my drinking increased. Now maybe its just XP and if you are already high level it wont do much.

Fair. I've done a few of them and haven't seen the skill increase notification, and they seemed to be more like little tips on how to behave and do things around the world. The most recent one he told me the Marigold Decoction recipe and Henry mentioned he already knew it.

I am wondering if he would of added the recipe to the book (I've not tried making recipes I've not actually learned), but I actually found him like... 40 mins after making this post, again. This time I did get a notification of a skill increase; so I suspect it's exp gain rather than a skill up.
