Ok?
I don't even know how much Skyrim I played. It was an extremely important game to me. On the day it came out I also received the key to the first apartment I bought, and the first night all I put in it was my bed and a dinner table with my PC on it. I didn't use my bed that night, I was too busy gaming. I played at least 2500 hrs more than the thousands of hours on Steam. It's my most played game by far. So no, I'm not dissing that game.
I was delighted to find KCD1. A beautiful open world, no magical nonsense, no all-powerful hero protagonist but just some dude, and an actual feeling of accomplishment when mastering the combat.
You have your wishes, I have mine. I am very happy with what KCD2 offers me, KCD1 on steroids. Why you would bother to come to a forum of a game you don't like and complain about it is beyond me. I leave the fans of FIFA alone, although their favorite game bores me to death. ("They should add swords to FIFA! That would make it exciting!" )
and its infinitely inferior to skyrim in every way
Also learning meaning the word "inspiration" and making difference with that with "copying idea" is a very good starting point in this ("whole open world concept "Bethesda style" was the inspiration"). Also "design wise Oblivion" isn't "tried to copy Oblivion" (not mentioning Skyrim at all).
Also comparing game which has magic, elves, real fantasy vampires, dragons, giants, etc. to a game which has base in real history, no magic, only dragon is really an bone's of dinosaur, and any fantasy elements are basically on easter eggs just referring to old children stories, ufo's or other _games_, to a KCD's is kinda miss hit. If one would compare Skyrim to other similar game, closer would be Dragon's Dogma, Witcher series, Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3 etc. magic&sword games.
As a games, Skyrim is a great corner stone in that kind of games, as is KCD2 on it's genre (non magic fantasy medieval rpg). I never finished Skyrim, while I played KCD2 through in about weeks time. So all in all and in the end, it's about personal tastes and taste issues are not worth comparing. Billion's and billion's fly's like ♥♥♥♥, can you tell them ♥♥♥♥ ain't good? Meaning everyone has the ♥♥♥♥ which is the best personally for them.
