KCD is just Skyrim with survival mods and immersion mods
This game is literally just Skyrim with survival mods and the immersive mods that let you see your legs and arms. Except it doesn't have the exciting lore of Skyrim and instead it's just about some random backwater slum

What's even the point? If I wanted to manage a hunger meter and worry about how dirty my character is I would just play modded Skyrim...

Why do you assume they are trolling instead of them genuinely disapproving of a direction the developers took?

@OP - If you don't get it, you don't get it.

He does get it, you don't.
The game has all the bells and whistles we want, but it just doesn't feel satisfying to play.

I would like to see a Mordhau style combat in an RPG one day, and thought perhaps KCD2 would be that based upon watching gameplay, though unfortunately ended up being very wrong.

If you tink about it Skyrim is kinda like uh like dark souls with uhh umm dialogue mods

Stop comparing every single game of a similar genre to your favourite mess of the game design you played as a kid, it just makes you look inexperienced

KCD is by far the most similar game in style to Skyrim other than Fallout.
If another game exists please let me know, I'd like to check it out.

Unlike you, they were calling a rightwinger dev a woke guy making a woke game, instead of simply disagreeing with a direction they took. You should've seen this forum when the game released.

Anyway, to me OP came up with a very silly comparison that just doesn't make any sense to me (I have pĺayed countless hours of Skyrim on my Xbox 360 many years ago + some hours on Steam), so I'll again say

Then go play modded Skyrim.

and leave you to discuss the topic of this thread with other people to whom this topic might make sense.

Thank you, definitely seems pretty similar to Skyrim, though gameplay wise comes across more as Dark Souls in spirit just with First Person.
Seems worth checking out.

In spirit, KCD2 is absolutely a non-fantasy version of Skyrim with survival mods.

Doesn't mean they are trolling, just means they aren't using critical thinking skills.
Perhaps asking the question, why would a game have woke elements when the developer is definitely not woke?

We already have, want a new game, and unfortunately KCD2 gets close to the feeling Skyrim provided, but not close enough.
The game is missing exciting lore to bring you in to the story and world.
An analogy for this would be that the game's vibe just feels like one is pressing "e" to follow the path.

Just because his opinion triggers rage within you, does not mean it's ragebait.

KCD it is a diffrend game.. nothing here is a skyrim kido
Skyrim is only good for mods. Skyrim is a fantasy action rpg with left click spam combat. While KCD 2 is more grounded and more importantly, historical. I think KCD has a better combat system even if master strikes are op.

The sandbox elements are definitely similar. The NPCs with schedules, crime system, being able to break into people’s houses and steal stuff etc. is all very, very TES. Have you even played those games?
Comparing this game to the garbage that is skyrim is pretty insulting.
