Hard crash every several hours
Hi to all, I really love this game but I can't play it because every now and then hard crash and freeze everything, I have to hard reset my pc because I can't do anything after that. It's the only one game that do this to me, so I don't think is about my comp.
4080 16gb vram, 32 gb ram, I7 10700k, SSD NVME.

Am I the only one with this problem? Meanwhile I wait for several patches before retry to play.

You seem to be one amongst few that get this it seems, I would simply reach out to their support. I understand the frustration it may cause I had the same stuff with another game where nobody had this...
I have the same problem and almost the same system, 4070 Ti Super, 10700KF and 32 GB RAM, I can sometimes play for 30 minutes, sometimes for 4 hours without any problems and then hard freeze.

So what are we do? I think I'll wait for some patches because there are really brute freezes and I don't want to burn my PC.
its your PC fault
For me game have not crashed once in 80h
1. cmd > sfc /scannow
2. update drivers
3. update chipset drivers
4. check eventviewer
5. from eventviewer figure out whats the problem

+ make sure ram speed is not higher than 3200 MHz

Assuming that you updated drivers and things like that do you maybe have any programs in the background that could cause issues ? some games dont always like overlay programs like for example some games crash if you have msi afterburner running with certain overlay settings (i do have msi afterburner running fine with kcd2 though) but basically try shutting down as many things as you can and see if changes anything.. and if it does you can slowly start things back up one after another till you find the culprit

I started having crashes after more than 30 hours of gaming.

One thing to check for is BIOS updates for your computer/motherboard. You could have EVERYTHING up to date in the operating system, but if there is a problem with the BIOS, it can cause all sorts of strange issues.
Yep similar issue here, screen goes black and then PC restarts. My drivers are updated and it's not a temp problem. Shows up as 41 critical Kernel power in event viewer.

The only thing I haven't tried is updating my bios, I'll do it as soon as I get a USB stick. Hope it fixes the issue because I have no clue what it might be otherwise.
I had 1 Crash with Error Sending Report thingy popping in 77 Hours of Playtime seems pretty Stable and my PC is already a few Years Old 3600x 16gb ram and a 4070 and it runs very good even on High Settings,
I updated my bios and still have the same issue, getting really annoying. I've checked everything I could check at this point.

I have the same problem. I crashed everytime during the first sword fight tutorial. PC screen black and a lot of noise from my pc. Had to turn off the pc by pressing the buttons for long. Updating drivers didn't help. Someone suggested turning Technology=DLSS to Off. So I did. And than I was able to complete the swordfight and play for much more hours without an issue, but now the issue is back.
I have this issue never with other games.
I hope an update will fix it.
P.S. Beautiful game! Could become a game I fall in love with, and that's a rare thing. But for now, I think I stop playing until the issue is fixed.

I can play for 5 minutes all the way up to 2 hours before it Black screens both of my monitors.
I have only ever experienced this with Warhammer 40k: Darktide but not as frequent.
I've played almost every other intensive game with zero problems.
Including the First Game.

New PSU and cables (including Display Port and HDMI), Ran SFC, Updated Drivers, ect.
I've done everything except buying new GPU's, CPU's and Ram.
