After finishing the game, Radzig's reforged sword dropped from level 3 to level 2.

From this point on, I want to clarify that this will contain spoilers for those who haven't finished the game. So make sure you've completed the game before reading further.

In the game, as soon as I obtained Radzig's sword, I leveled up my blacksmithing stat and unlocked the "Martin's Secret" skill. Then, I reforged Radzig's sword, making it level 3 with 172 damage.

Now that I've finished the game, I gave Radzig his sword, but he handed it back to Henry, and Henry took it. After the credits, I was placed back into the open world. The weapon's name has changed to Henry's Sword Reforged, and it dropped from level 3 to level 2, with its damage reduced to 146.

I did some research online but couldn't find any information about this issue. However, I saw that some players have upgraded Henry's Sword Reforged to level 4. How exactly did they do this? I want to upgrade my sword to level 4 (M). How can I do it?

Same issue as well. My immediate thought was “wtf?! Why did it drop to level 2?” Searching for anything on this has been fruitless for me as well

I think I've figured it out, but I'm not entirely sure. If we reforge Radzig's sword before the end of the game, it gets downgraded by one level at the end. However, if we don't reforge it until after Radzig gives it back to us at the end, we can upgrade it to level 4 (M). But I'm not completely certain.

Also, I'm not sure about this, but some people have mentioned that there's a learnable blueprint to upgrade Henry's Sword to level 4. However, they didn't specify what it is or where to find it. I don't think such a thing exists, but I wanted to mention it just in case.
