No risk. Strength and agiltiy go up in no time. It also increases archery skill much faster than in KCD1. And it's good for earning money.
2) If you haven't play KCD1 - try it, it way more better, than KCD2. And then go to the 1st tip.
3) Use mace\axe instead of a sword. It's a) more historically accurate and b) effective. On the same 20th level of skill, you could kill 1 heavy armored bandit with a dozen of sword strikes and 2-3 mace strikes. If you ignored tips 1 and 2 - at the beginning swords are better, but levels in KCD2 are progressing much faster - so just train your Jindřich to pick the perks Sundering blow 1 and 2. Bonebreaker is also mandatory.
4) You're not obliged to pick perks at every level
5) Best way to earn the starter kit is to brew as many decoctions as you can at Bozhena's - you could easily earn 300-400 groschen at the start village to buy the kit.
6) Remember - at the beginning stealth is your best friend. Just switch to a silent outfit (you picked up from the bandits at Bozhena) and choke down any bandits you meet.
7) Side quests aren't your bro - except that one, which leads you to Poachers Liar (your best armor kit for the next 30 hours).
