Game crashes when loading save

Basically whenever I load a save the game just crashes during the loading screen.
This does not happen when the save is loaded from the home screen.

I am not sure when this started happening but I feel like it was around when I entered the Kuttenberg region.

I have a gut feeling it has something to do with Radzig's sword and/or Godwin's ring as I noticed messages saying "you parted with..." for these items when transitioning between Trosky and Kuttenberg region even though the items were still in my inventory. My point is that this is buggy behavior as well and I think I started experiencing the loading bug around the time that these items were introduced.

I noticed some other posts about this but noone has a solution and I don't see the devs responding, which is disappointing.

What I've tried:
- verify files
- reinstall
- delete shader directory in <drive>/Users/<User>/Saved Games/kingdomecome2/

Please share any solution and or summon the devs.

I am really enjoying the game but this makes it so I need to stop until there's a fix and that really just sucks as I want to complete it in one streak of sessions.

Same issue here i also noticed this bug with the items while stille aving them in my inventory, i left my game for the first time in kuttenberg and now any time i try to open my last save the gamme crashes during the loading screen. Kinda diaspointed because i was also enjoying the game and telling friends it was good

i reloaded my save just before i discovered kuttenberg and it worked, so i guess that its just kuttenberg the issue

I get crashes after completing certain quests in the Kuttenberg region. Seems to happen most with the main story missions, as I have been doing some side quests just fine. But it has crashed a few times during cut scenes too, I've read people saves have been corrupted and as I am like 50 hours in with a lot of hours spent training all my skills, I don't fancy starting again or even starting the Kuttenberg region again as I've done way to much.

same if i lost an other save while in kuttenberg i'll wait for a patch i don't want to spend my life on an other run

I have same problem, but i still not seen Kuttenberg.. I am on first map location.. I cannot load save from menu or when I die and want to play again the game will crash.. I have to run game again..

Same here, last save was in kuttenberg, and the game crashes mid loading. My real issue is that it's not been my first save there but now it dosen't work

Having the same problem, with all saves after I entered Kuttenberg - deleted all mods, no change. First time loading the game works, but then loading again it CTD. very annoying.

Do you have Godwins ring or Radzig's sword maybe?
