Trouble brewing Buck's Blood
1.Grind the St.John's wort and add it to the cauldron.
2.Add the comfrey to the cauldron and boil for 1 turn.
3.Add the dandelion to the cauldron and using the bellows, boil for one turn.
4.Fin.
Is the recipe i'm following and the game keeps telling me i'm making a mistake.
When following the recipe, game tells me i boiled comfrey on flame that's too intense and if i don't use the bellows it tells me dandelion needed higher flame, I even tried following the recipe backwards and the game told me i boiled the dandelion for too long.
Maybe i'm stupid but i'm not sure how to proceed here, is this a bug ?

I was able to get the henry's version of it after trying to figure it out.

When boiling I drop the cauldron, quickly bellows once then immediately flip the timer. Once you see the sand it almost out pickup the cauldron.

For the dendelion, same as above except I pick up the cauldron with about maybe a fourth of the sand left and pick up the cauldron and that's what got me the henry's version assuming you have the perk either way you should get at least a strong version.

Edit: This was me doing it with dark arts apprentice perk activated at like 0100 in-game. Hope this helps!

SAME! It's driving me crazy, and I don't know what the hell is wrong. I've decided to just buy it whenever I'm at an apothecary because I don't know what else to do.

Thanks, that seems to be the proper way to make it, Henry is no longer telling me i did something wrong. It does seem like the recipe given to the player might be slightly off somewhere in there

I found a solution for Henry's option (I have the minor error still ok stat and the get +2 more potions).
1. Fill the caouldron with Oil
2. Grind the St.John's wort and add it to the cauldron.
3. Add the comfrey to the cauldron
4. Move down the cauldron and watch until it get's foggy (like 4-5 sec)
5. After getting foggy, immediately move up
6. Start the timer, good 10sec, it's important to wait before adding the dandelion
7. Add the dandelion and start the timer, wait 10 sec
8. Move down the cauldron, press Q for bellows and wait until it get's foggy, like 1-2 sec
9. Immediately move up the cauldron after the fog (like said, 1-2 sec)
10. get a phial and pour
