Brawl at the tavern unavoidable and unwinnable?
I'm slogging through the endless prologue, which keeps piling on stupid tasks and constantly blocking free play, and now have to do the stupid hand-to-hand fight at the tavern (when a guy in a black and red gambeson insults Hans). So, apparently, no matter how hard I try (and I've got the perfect block/riposte combo down pat since the first game), there is no way to "win" this fight before guards arrive and put you and Hans in the pillory.

I understand needing to do such a thing like ONCE in the story (Henry getting his wound at the beginning). But doing it again, and again, even in such trivial events as a barfight?

Why even make it a fight then? Why not just show a short cutscene and save the player some time? If you can't win anyway, what's the point of wasting time on it, and feeling like a loser?

I remember how in the first game you HAD to lose to the bandits at the end of the prologue. I actually managed to killed the bandits, and couldn't progress the game, because the game needed me to lose. I hoped Warhorse learned and we won't be getting crap like that in the sequel. Well, apparently they didn't. Pity.

yeah you cant win but you also cant realy loose. the guards interrupts your fight.
so i dont count this as a loose
The whole game piles on stupid tasks and blocks free play. There must be like 30 hours of cutscenes in this game....it's unreal. Choices don't matter, story is too long and boring, forced stealth missions. Perfect 10/10 game though.

You make your own story, but sometimes it is meant in such a way you can't get away. Don't save scum and do your best. After all in that situation, all that saved Henry was a bandit that He fell on top of from a cliff edge with a hole in his shouder. 2v1 should not be a problem, but that guy got half a Village willing to join. Get back on track from that.

It's got a few cutscenes get over it. They are fun. You do remember what fun is?

maybe RPG's arent for you, but i agree on your 10/10 score though.
bruv youre literally right at the end of the prologue by that point, youll get free roaming within minutes if you just dew it

I’m backing this guy, about 20 hours in at the moment and I haven’t even done that quest yet. (I wanted to do all the unarmed brawls to try and win) but I have been roaming and doing side quests for hours
