Swapping horses and gear stored

I already got a horse and found Pebbles in Semine. I've got the choice to trade my current horse for Pebbles, but I'm wondering what happens to gear that's stashed on the current horse.

Does anyone know if it transfers to Pebbles? or does it just disappear into the ether?

Your safe this is one system I've never actually seen break. Only thing you'll need to do is re-equip from H Inv, otherwise it'll all xfer over.

Thanks for the response. I was worried I would have to write the question in crayon for someone to understand after the first two replies... I had forgot to sip some schnapps before engaging in the conversation and didn't recall how long it had been from the last save; otherwise I would have just save scummed to find out. Cheers!
