No black characters
I read that some think KD2 is woke. I haven't noticed that yet. But I did notice and was very happy that I saw no Africans running around Bohemia in 1403. Thank goodness WH is not based in the US or we would see that or every other man in the game would be a flamer.

KCD2 is not “woke” as the likes of Veilguard or Dustborn, but compared to KCD1 it is most definitely woke and “progressive”.

There is one you meet during the main story.
There is multiple gay romances and gay characters tat face nibreprecussions for sodimy.
Vavra inserted a Jewish quarter, synagogue and a pogrom that never were there during the time period, and yes it is mandatory to help the Jews because you now have a retconned half-jewish brother.

There were gay romances and characters in the first one too.
You have to help the Jews because they get attacked for aiding your side. The existence of Jews, or having to help Jews who are on your side does not make a game "woke".

With how the gay romance is defended by "it's just an OPTION in an RPG, it's a PLAYER CHOICE and FREEDOM" - where is all that in regards to choosing which side to choose in that fiction event?

it's a main quest. play the first game and see for yourself. main quest don't offer *that* much freedom, or else the branches of possibilities are too much

Then why does this "historically accurate game" has a synagogue and pogrom in a time perio where it didn't exist? That happened a lot later.
Why do they use the word "antisemitism" which wasn't invented until modern days?
Any clue as to why exactly was this included?

Progroms happened well before the 15th century already. The synagoge in Kuttenberg didn't exist (AFAIK Jews where not allowed to settle there during this time - and that was antisemitism even if the word wasn't invented yet) but Jews were presnt in most larger European cities and so granting some artistic freedom the synagoge in Kuttenberg might not be totally accurate but still very plausible (unlike the Musa guy).

One of the game’s main villain, von Aulitz, the bald, was historically dead a year before the game began. He was already in the first game if you didn’t know. Clearly, historical accuracy gives way to gameplay, when for example it’s more fun or serve a narrative purpose. Other examples include books, and the lack of children.

The word antisemite was not used in dialogue, even when they’re explicitly referenced. This term is only present in the menus for us modern player to read only, not used by the characters themselves

Yeah, but in that city that didn't happen during the game's time period.
"Plausible" is not "Historically accurate" which is what was advertised.
"Plausible" led to multiple gay romances with no reprecussions being added, which, according to history, were punisheable by death, but for "plausible" reasons not in this game.
In general east european companies still more value fun and historical accuracy than political agendas. I would say the western "woke border" for gaming is at Germany, while Germany is still woke and countries like Czechia and Polen next to are not woke.
