Upcoming patch with bug fixes?
Hi Warhorse. Any ETA on bug fixes? Tournament isn't working (some opponents just don't show up, and even if you wait for hours tournament just ends), some of the recepies like noble sword, knights sword for smiting, you use them and you don't learn anything from them.

Doing my second play through and I think I'll wait for bug fixes cause it's a bit annoying.

Thanks!

The game shipped in a remarkably good state but it's surprising that we're almost 2 weeks into release and there's not even a hint of a patch coming. Most bugs people report aren't even that major, they seem like a quick hotfix would solve the problem so I'm not sure what's taking so long.

The tournament is so bugged it doesn't work properly at all and half the shops never open. Those aren't minor gripes.

I'm not as surprised, many of the issues are something that would have been caught, identified, and possibly addressed during focused play testing. The disappearing equip save is rather evident proof they didn't do serious testing. I can't think of a developer that wouldn't bug the hell out of if they ever encountered it during a session. And it's so common you can't miss it like many of the more esoteric issues. And it's one of those things you could temp fix by disallowing any modification to equip not initiated by player till you had time to look for a permanent one.

Many of the issues most prevalent are(for the most part) systems not quit interacting with each other correctly, instead of out and out doing something they aren't meant too. It's trying to fit circles into misaligned squares, not randomly drilling new circles. I can't speak to how easy, hard they may be in regards to a hot fix, but to do anything with them they must be identified. If they were rushed or lazy and didn't do so prior to release, it would explain the delay.

I think devs are content with their product quality and either take their time to roll out a big patch later or just plainly drinking beers for second week straight. I'd put my money on the option number 2
I'm not saying Tournament is not bugged, but in my case using T to pass an hour when an opponent was lollgagging instead of entering their arena spot, helped.

And yes, I also want the sword upgrade currently impossible to get tier4 fixed.

And in my opinion they deserved to do option 2.

We'll do another playthrough one way or another anyway, so no rush.

We have different understanding of "remarkably good state".
Saving a random villager from wolves, villager is not interactable at all. Just stays in panic mode.
On random event, FPS goes from 120 FPS on Ultra settings down to 1 for about 10 seconds and after that it's ok but still happens in some instances.
Memory usage oscillating from 16-22 Gb at times. Not enough to crash but still pretty high usage.
Bunch of NPCs clogged in together standing in doorways.
Dudes in bathtubs riding on their asses on the roads of Kuttenberg.
Staircase challenged. Either jumping like madman to progress up the stairs or sneaking on several occasions in several houses in Kuttenberg.
Thieving mechanics are nothing like in KCD. If an NPCs is sitting you need to find exact right point on them to be able to rob them.
Some shops open past 10 a.m.
Speech checks failing at lvl 30 i.e. endgame.
Mutt growling at bandits not obeying orders at all. Bandits ignore him at times.
If you pass time for an hour in tournament, nothing happens. Fighters stand still in their corners not being able to progress.
Forging invisible weapons, or forging a weapon through the anvil.
Potions not healing properly or not fully though requirements are met.
Master Strikes not triggering most of the times.
Killing a bandit on the road registers as a civilian killed.

Fully finished the game with all sidequests and there are more issues but these are just brought up from top of my head.
There are other gripes with this game like exchanging 10 sword swings to be able to land one hit on 1v1 but that's not a bug, that's a feature.

Compared to KCD1 at release, KCD2 is remarkably well polished. Still some bugs and jank, but an incredible improvement over KCD1. I haven't hit the tournament yet, but some minor bugs with sharpening wheels and dodges not working are annoying. Nothing like taking a sword to the face from 3 yards away because spacing isn't being recognized.

sad to see kcd 2 failing on community support of all things

Tournament worked for me without any issue. Did all three levels

Worst bugs for me so far have been the following:

A lot of anvils have clipping issues when blacksmithing

Trespass mechanic has completely stopped working, I no longer get trespassed when going into restricted areas

When going the blacksmith route to get into the wedding, as soon as I enter the wedding everyone starts attacking me and then the game skips to the end of the mission (I was able to fix this by going with the miller instead)

Feature, they keep things in 2 bags, its a mechanic.
The community should not have to end up fixing/patching a game but that's what will happen if Warhorse doesn't do something soon. Also known as "Community Patches". They have not said a single word to their fan base. I haven't seen a dev post in weeks. They need to let their fans know they're working on it.

I completely agree re play testing. It feels like it wasn't play tested thoroughly enough. I concede that I have crippling artism and therefore come across things most people might not see or be bothered about, but nevertheless...

The player crime stats for Items Stolen and Groschen/Value stolen do not track correctly. When bandits rob a friendly NPC and take their stuff this somehow gets logged against the player stats, making a zero crime run impossible.
