The game was stolen under cover of night
I bought the game, thought I'd play it on the weekend. I played for 5 hours on a weekday, today I woke up and saw that the game was simply blocked on my account because it was in the wrong region, although it's still physically on my computer, wtf:steamthumbsdown::steamthumbsdown:

Move to the region where you can play it :suzuko1:
im guessing you either travel alot or your pc does travels using vpn as steam only cares about what region your account is made in and if it sees you buy a game using a connection in for example brazil and your account is british, itll think you tried to surcomvent region specific pricing. so either use a vpn again and contact support and get a refund and buy the game in the correct region. steam is a cutthroat in certain aspects and dont care in other aspects they are a company at the end of the day. the game itself is not banned in any country. not sure this is the answer you want especially seing as support might just ignore you cuz you played 5 hours XD they are a bit stupid

Yeah i'd guess the key isn't what they advertised in some way e.g. bought in a different region.

You say that this is not an issue for you - but note that the region that steam thinks you are in when you activate a key on steam is also important.
