Is there a legal way to be a poacher?
I am running out of open world stuffs to do. Poaching could be fun but stolen goods take time to get whitewashed. Does anyone know if poaching quests can lead to legal poaching?

Why did you answer with a comment that belittles the OP when you know exaclty what he means. thats pretty toxic of you. i would like to know the asnwer to his question how to hunt with out being a poacher. Ritzmax72 I hope someone will answer this question and i hope there is a way
Maybe by becoming a huntsman or if there's a side mission.
Would like to know this as well. In the first game you could do a quest with the master huntsman of talmberg and after that become master huntsman yourself which allowed you to hunt legally. I hope there is something similar in KCD2.
I'd like to know this too

There are a couple places you can sell stolen goods to. Have you tried the nomads camp on the first map? Poached game should be able to be sold there as well.

When you get to the 2nd map in the game you'll start off knowing where to sell such goods.
I think only hares and wolves are the one which you can carry parts of them legally.

So other than Nomads where else can you sell? i tried looking for a fence in this game for other stuff - to no avail.

My thoughts on both accounts there..

After a quick google I did find this ...

..................... A bit of both Yes and No in regards to hunting

Legally, you can only hunt rabbits, wolves, and wild dogs, though that doesn't mean you can't hunt illegally. There are many hunting spots throughout the world with almost all of them being far away from just about anyone, and as long as you're not caught you can easily get away with being a poacher

This site here explains it ina little more detail...

On the first map, the Miller if I recall.

On second map (Kuttenburg), your first encounter (at Devil's Den).
Lmao...

You can sell as much poached meat to vendors as you like. The system is bugged. I sold 1000 poached deer, hare and hog meat without even getting a comment from vendors. Doesn't matter who you sell it to.
Just smoke or dry the meat. The stolen tag gets removed and you can sell without any fear of being found out. I also have sold heaps of poached meat with the stolen tag on it and no vendor has said anything to me so far.
As above said, just cook/smoke/dry the meat and it removed the stolen tag.

That's because it's broken.
