Tomcat/combat is truly cancerous in this game
Unless you're autistic (which many gamers are to be fair), it's nearly impossible to both focusing on perfect blocking and somehow stringing up combos AND paying attention to where you can hit the enemy where they're unguarded. Truly an autistic requirement. The combat is easily the lowpoint of this game...

I am not autistic. I have micro brain injuries.

True, but the real bummer is that in 95% of fights you have 3 or 4 f**g enemies to fight at the same time !!
And I just can't look left and right to avoid flanking while moving/dodging AND make combos...

It gets easier. Just practice and try to chill out.

I honnestly struggled a bit at the start, But i fell inlove with the combat. It is so good. Tho when having to face big groups, i go for bow and arrow (poison arrows) Makes wiping out a big camp with 30+ enemy's, super easy :D

I dont personally find it that difficult. Unless im in like a 5v1 or higher. Depends on the enemy as well.

Also with perfect blocks dont just instantly riposte each time, its a waste of stamina as its a very low chance of being a successful hit.

Its easy to see where the enemy is attacking from/where they arent guarding because well.... you can see where their weapon is...

Master strikes arent hard, they are for a defensive playstyle not an aggressive one. Try to let the enemy come at you and you will find that master strikes are easy

the game doesnt even give you tutorials or explain or even tell you the buttons to do things like stab or dodge, i wish there was a real practice system to test out the combat
master strikes are easy its just you dont have a lot of time to do them, i do them all the time, but dodging literally is impossible because the buttons dont respond quick enough

I won't even bother with any enemies if there's a group of more than 2...I still don't understand when is the right time to strike then if it's not after a perfect block. If I try to attack unannounced, suddenly they start attacking the same time and dwindle your stamina/health. It feels so damn clunky...Where is the opening then??

Multi-enemy fights is another issue on its own. I understand that the game is trying to be more realistic/sim-like, but it sacrifices fun with that "realism"

Be better. It takes time and practice to learn. You cannot just spam attacks.
