Does it get better?
I have only just been to the wedding and am doing the quests 'to whom the bell tolls'. I was enjoying the game but I'm not feeling this bit at all. It's as boring as ****.
I wanted to know if it get's any better or is it this sort of stuff from now on. I don't know if to give up on it and play something else or stick with it.
If it gets better how long does this boring stuff last. When can I get back to being free to do what I want?

It depends on how long 'a while ' is. I can't play this for long it's boring, and frustrating, it's also a little stupid. I think WH should have stuck with what they do best. This story telling is not really all that good, in fact it's terrible.
cant please everyone, like said, theirs some big battles coming up, up to you if you want to stick with it or not

I just want to get back to the open world with quests and stuff. I'm not into this set piece drama stuff especially when it's done badly. They don't have the talent of the old Bioware to pull stuff off like this. It just don't work.

I think my best bet is finding a play-through of this mission that can help me cheese my way through.

Sounds like you made a bad purchase and enjoy other games, possibly ones that are fast paced, and action packed, that a lot of us would consider bad. Like Call of Duty.

You know it may have been a good quest if they had not put the bloody thing on a timer.
Computer games and timers never get along. This is only their second game so I guess they are still learning what to do and what not to do when making a game.
awe well, what can you do ey, maybe move on to a game thats got instant gratification

That mission makes it feel like you're short on time and I generally hate timers but despite having no idea what I was doing because I avoid spoilers and guides, I still managed within the 4th or 5th stroke. Which means it can probably be done in less than half that time once you know how, and what corners can be cut. And even if you somehow can't manage it the first time around, then the next at least you know where to go and what to do, right?

I ALMOST quit at this mission. I looked up how to get the potion cause you can loot it instead of making it. Talk to the guard praying next to the smithy, he will escort you to the top to pray for Thomas. Done. Once you know where to go, it is easy. But I think this mission is ♥♥♥♥ in general. A lot of people didn't like it. I say stick with it, it gets better.

The best way to enjoy this game and KCD 1 is not to play it as a game. Play it as someone in that time period and act like a person should act. Go to bed at night, or sleep during the day if you want to sneak around at night.
If you treat it like Skyrim, you will not enjoy your experience.

I followed that you-tube vid and had it done in something like 5 minutes which was great. I was worried it was going to be a long drawn out affair like the fade or something.
Back on the open road again so all's good.
