mission where you got to catch the guy riding a horse and your on a horse

the guy is going way to fast for me to catch i spur my horse and hes like nascar out of here game over every time i cant shoot him in time because for one theres no crossbow icon to line up the shot secondly hes too fast how to fix this because im clueless

no his goes through the trees and merges back on the road but i cant catch him before game over happens its the mission where Godwin cant speak Latin and you have to chase the guy on the horse, i would say its a bug hes going to fast

Hard to tell without info on your horse. Pebbles with regained strength ("Good old Pebbles" perk) has 58 speed max, without saddle and torso-covers (60 even, with Lovarian Horse Shoes).

you just need to follow him. he is following the road cutting through trees, you can do the same. you don't need to shoot him or anything.

i figured it out i need a faster horse to keep up with him i must have the slow horse

um it's a bit of a scripted scenario, just follow him and eventually that polish guy will stop him by cutting him off.
