regards to the drying rack, yes herbs dry instantly, and there are plenty drying racks scattered throughout towns, its just a matter of locating them
little tip to make speech options a bit easier- charisma gear is your friend, also, if you aquire books, read them, even the lore books that you just flick through will give you scholarship xp which in turn makes speech checks easier.
and ALWAYS have a saviour schnapps to hand, or save at your bed before you head out, i cant tell you how many hours ive lost to overconfidence and a quick humbling!
I'll try that tonight, might have been looking in the wrong place.
And for sure, the game has got me hooked no doubt, I'm mostly looking forward to at least being competitive in fights instead of always losing. But, I gotta make some coin first though, and making potions seems to be pretty important so I gotta figure that out too.
So far I have just been exploring and finding cool stuff, like the quest to get the sword from the hermit, i did all of the pre-quest quests, then went to see him, he told me to get lost and that was that, no other talk options... so I wandered around for awhile waiting for dark so I could loot his house see if he has it stashed, started collecting some useful herbs, and found the sword just sticking out of the ground. Boom, quest over. So not sure if I missed anything with the hermit, but I am going to the wedding.
I'm loving the game, but you are correct, the learning curve is steep..
Yeah its in the tavern...when you enter, take the second door to your left.
