Brunswick's poleaxe.
Hey. Does everyone have a weapon with only 20 durability when forging at max level? I forged it (with the "Hardened Steel" skill to reduce wear rate), I have it level 4 weapon with attack parameters of 98-98-61 and defense of 176.

Yeah, Brunswick's poleaxe starts at low dura no matter what, pretty much. Have to hit it with a kit or two after crafting it.

Hey?)
If you had some bad swings during the production it might end with lowered starting durability, but a blacksmith kit takes care of that.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Its not worth it really. Best way to level crafting is buying armorers kits and reparing then selling.
Eventually you'll be a better Smith.

This and axe heads are the way, imo. With a good rhythm and striking pattern, one can easily crap out an M tier bearded axe before having to reheat.

Thanks for the answers). I was interested in this particular weapon (I forged it with the maximum level) and why it has such low durability, unlike some cheap cleavers, for example. So, it's the same for everyone.
You'll just have to repair it more often, well :)

I am a little confused, so you mean Durability as in the HP the Weapon has that are restorable by using a repair kit or the Durability in the Detail Tab where you also see Charisma and Defence values?
If the HP one, that is an indocator of the sharpnes of the Blade at that Moment which after a fresh forging is natutally still Blunt. You need to use a Grindwheel or smithing Kit. Like with ALL weapons you craft.

No, i meant durability, not condition. Durability is a parameter in the additional tab of the weapon. This axe has only 20 in any condition.

I was simply surprised by this small number, in contrast to, for example, cheap hunting cleavers, and I wanted to know if it was the same for everyone (especially since I forged this axe with the highest quality - the "Jindřich-Martin" mark).
I think devs "simulated" the fragility of a wooden shaft thus. Probably).
Any advice on the whole polearm durability topic? I had a duel just now that required me to use a polearm and it just broke halfway through the duel.. The durability does not change by using kits.

EDIT: I crafted a lvl 4 one and even then the poleaxe breaks down halfway through the duel, it even degraded just now. That is a bit ridiculous.

pole arms don't really seem meant for anything beyond pushing ladders. I messed around with one for a while, but gave on it fast.

They are at least better than pole arms in the first game.

Hmm. After I created the Brunswik poleaxe, I haven't used any other melee weapon. After each fight (usually 3-5 opponents) I always repair my gear, and I noticed that the condition of this axe only deteriorates by 2-3%. And it has never broken for me.

I can't say about the simple polearms, I haven't used it yet. I don't know what advice I can give here - except to repair after each battle, just like me, for example).

You need to repair it after crafting, as you craft it only with Up to 70 or 80 percent Condition. And then IT should actually hold Up a fair Bit longer.
