When can we do The Kuttenberg Tournament?

So, I got to Kuttenberg and talked to Katherine, but I wanted to see if I could start the tournament. I went to the spot where either "Menhard von Frankfurt" and/or Master Nicholas of Prague are supposed to be at. I found Master Nicholas of Prague, but all I can do is play dice with him and I get no other choice.

do I need to do anything first before the tournament? I tried looking online and nothing comes up, just the spots where these two appear.

You gotta do the Menhard missions to eventually reach the tournament and after winning it, it will be available to enter.

Unfortunately the tournament is so buggy right now for many players. I suggest you wait for the patch first.

you encounter Master Menhard on one of the main street, he will ask to duel with you, complete the whole quest line to unlock Tournament.
